Championship Regulations 2010
Regulation Governing Championship Fixtures For 2010
Competing Teams:
â¢Â· All teams in Championship games should be numbered properly.
â¢Â· In all games clubs are requested to dress uniformly i.e. matching socks and shorts.
â¢Â· Each club to ensure that all substitutes remain in the dug-out while a game is on. Where dug-outs are not provided or are not big enough the host club should provide seats for the substitutes.
â¢Â· Only one official/team manager can leave the dug-out area while the game is in progress. A club is allowed to have up to a maximum of 2 Water Carriers. These water carriers cannot go onto the field of play but will be positioned along the sideline where the players will have access to them.
â¢Â· Each club will be allowed a maximum of 7 non-playing officials (9 in hurling including 2 hurley carriers) into the pitch area for a game. There should be no exceptions to this rule. The host club should issue the relevant passes to an officer of competing clubs once they arrive at a venue.
â¢Â· Non playing officials should be over age of 16.
â¢Â· Official Team list to be supplied to referee prior to commencement of game.
Host Club:
â¢Â· National flag to be flown at all Championship Games.
â¢Â· Pitch to be properly lined and flagged (as per Official Guide). For Health & Safety of players please ensure that the end-line/side-lines are at least 2 metres from the perimeter fencing of pitch.
â¢Â· Each competing team will be allowed a maximum of 7 non-playing officials (9 in hurling including 2 hurley carriers) into the pitch area for a game. There should be no exceptions to this rule. The host club should issue the relevant passes to an officer of competing clubs once they arrive at a venue.
â¢Â· Club to have access to stretcher if required and numbers for local doctors if they had to be called.
â¢Â· Scoreboard to be fully operational at all Championship games.
â¢Â· Please ensure there are an adequate number of ticket sellers at the entrances to your grounds. All monies and unsold tickets to be returned to Board's Cisteoir as soon as possible after a game. Only 2010 South West Junior Board passes can be used to gain admittance to our Championship games (County Board & Bord na nOg passes are not valid for games under our auspices)
â¢Â· Please ensure there are enough stewards/car parking attendants.
Referee:
â¢Â· Referee to be at venue in good time for commencement of game.
â¢Â· Referee should ensure he has a full compliment of officials - 2 linesmen (kitted out properly) & 4 umpires (with white coats). All officials assisting a referee should be over age of 16
