Carbery GAA launched the Bandon Co-op Junior Football Championships and RCM Tarmacadam Junior Hurling Championships last Thursday night in the Parkway Hotel Dunmanway.
The event was attended by large crowd with club officers and players from the majority of clubs in the division present on the night. Representatives from Bandon Co-op, RCM Tarmacadam, the Carbery Board and several media personnel were also in attendance.
Guest speaker on the night was Diarmuid O Donovan former County Administrator who delivered a wonderful speech on his knowledge of Carbery and his family's involvement with the division over the years.
The All Ireland Scór Sinsear Champions, Clann na nGael, provided the entertainment for the night.
The football championship kicks off on Friday July 26th with the hurling starting Saturday 3rd August.
